Another Falling Tree Kills Pregnant Woman in Queens

A woman, six months pregnant, was killed after a tree struck her in a Queens park last night. Yingyi Li, 30, had been sitting on a bench in Kissena Park when the oak tree hit her.

There have been a rash of injured and killed New Yorkers in recent years, all hit by falling trees and tree limbs.  The law is clear…the City of New York is responsbile for inspecting all trees in City owned parks.

The attorneys at Morgan Levine Dolan represent people injured or killed in accidents similar to this tree fall incident.  The Department of Parks and Recreation is required to keep individual tree cards on record with information detailing when the tree was last inspected and the condition of the tree and its limbs.

If you or a loved one has been injured in an accident, contact Jared Levine of Morgan Levine Dolan today.
