Wrong kidney removed at Mount Sinai Medical Center in New York

A 76-year-old man had the wrong kidney removed by a surgeon at Mount Sinai Medical Center here in New York.  The surgeon has been relieved of his duties at the hospital after removing the wrong kidney from the man who had been on dialysis because of two diseased kidneys.

Medical mistakes happen everyday but few rise to this level of malpractice.  The attorneys at Morgan Levine Dolan pride ourselves on offering the most reliable, detailed and compassionate legal representative to our clients and their family members.

While this case seems to be an open and shut case of medical malpractice, a patient injured in this fashion still needs to hire competent legal counsel to obtain any and all possible compensation and benefits under New York law.

If you or a loved one has been a victim of medical malpractice, contact Duane Morgan or Glenn Dolan of Morgan Levine Dolan today.
