Worker Injured in Astoria Building Collapse

A construction worker was injured when a building partially collapsed in Queens.  The first-floor facade of the three-story building, located at 31-19 30th Ave., collapsed as the worker was on a ladder.

Vardaris Tech Inc., a Long Island City general contractor, and Fertitta Produce Inc, the owner, are fully responsible for this accident under the New York Labor Law.
