Worker Killed by Garbage Truck Compactor

An 18-year-old man was killed this weekend in Brooklyn when he was crushed by a garbage truck.  He was standing at the rear of the truck when the compactor came down on his body.  He was pronounced dead at Long Island College Hospital.

The death of Luis Camarillo of the Bronx could have been avoided.

Investigators from OSHA, the Federal agency Occupational Safety and Health Administration, are investigating.  OSHA’s involvement is to determine if there were any violations of workplace saftey standards.

The attorneys at Morgan Levine review OSHA reports at construction sites.  We then hire independent experts to review the findings to determine all possible responsible parties for the happening of a work place accident.

Our attorneys are also attorneys to the profession of lawyers.  Many law firms do not have the infrastructure to handle these types of cases.  These New York law firms rely upon Morgan Levine Dolan to actively litigate cases.

If you or a loved one has been injured in a work place injury, contact Jared Levine of Morgan Levine Dolan today.
