Morgan Levine Hired to Fight for Change After Beloved Mother Killed

Morgan Levine was retained earlier today to represent the family of Lillian Cruz, the beloved mother who was struck and killed last month at the intersection of Hamilton Street and Court Street in Brooklyn.

She was struck by an 18 wheel tractor trailer who was cited by the police for driving with an obstructed and limited view.  She was pronounced dead at the scene of the accident and now the family wants answers.

Everyone knows the attorneys at Morgan Levine will go after every possible benefit for this family.  However, money will not bring back their mother, it will not bring back the grandmother of 5.

Reckless driving by large tractor trailers on New York City streets must be fully prosecuted.  More and more pedestrians are dying everyday due to the negligence of drivers, most of whom are in a rush and speeding.

More than being exceptional and effective lawyers, Morgan Levine is taking an active roll in trying to prevent these types of accidents from happening in the first place. We have started a grass-roots movement to curb speeding and reckless driving on New York City streets.

We have called upon the NYPD and the Mayor’s office to issue a new set of priorities and guildelines in ticketing speeding vehicles in New York.  Due to the overwhelming support of our clients, our facebook likes and this blog, the City is starting to take notice.  But we need your continued help spreading the word of how serious these accidents are affecting our lives.

If you would like to help in this effort to push for a more effective way of slowing cars in New York and avoiding accidents like these, contact Jared Levine at Morgan Levine Dolan.
