63-year-old Sookja Kim struck and killed in the Bronx

A 63-year-old pedestrian was killed in the Bronx yesterday.  Sookja Kim was struck and killed in a car accident on Mosholu Parkway in the Bronx.

She was struck by a 22-year-old man who was driving near Bainbridge Avenue.  The pedestrian was pronounced dead on arrival at Saint Barnabus Hospital.

This has become an almost daily occurrence in New York City. Everyday there is a new report of a pedestrian being struck by a car either while walking on the sidewalk or within a marked crosswalk.

Our law firm represents innocent victims in these and other types of car accident cases. We make sure all possible benefits and rights are afforded our clients. More than being exceptional and effective lawyers, Morgan Levine is starting to take an active roll in trying to prevent these types of accidents from happening in the first place. We are starting a grass-roots movement to curb speeding on New York City streets. We have called upon the NYPD and the Mayor’s office to issue a new set of priorities and guildelines in ticketing speeding vehicles in New York.

If you would like to help in this effort to push for a more effective way of slowing cars in New York and avoiding accidents like these, contact Jared Levine at Morgan Levine Dolan.
