22 Year-Old Pedestrian Killed On West Side Highway By Hit and Run Driver

A 22 year-old man was killed as he crossed within the marked pedestrian crosswalk on the West Side Highway at 23rd Street earlier this morning.  The driver of the car left the scene of the accident without identifying themselve.

This is a second hit and run death car accident in the last week in New York City. This is also the 7th pedestrian killed by a car in the last month.

Investigators are still looking into this most recent killing.  However, given the fact the area where this happened is mostly a commercially zoned location, many security video surveillance cameras should have recorded this accident.

Morgan Levine was recently hired in a pedestrian car accident on the East Side of Manahattan which killed the pedestrian as she stood on the sidewalk.  We are currently investigating the existence of video cameras which may have observed the accident.

While the police typically perform a good investigation, the lawyers of Morgan Levine spend more time and money on thoroughly investigating pedestrian knockdown accidents.
