A pedestrian crossing the street in midtown was struck and killed by dump truck yesterday. The drivers of the dump truck ran over the 69 year old woman and fled the scene of the accident. He was later arrested. The victim, Shu Ying Lui, was pronounced dead at St. Luke’s Roosevelt Hospital.
