A 50-year-old woman was struck and killed by a yellow school bus, police said. The accident occurred on Atlantic Avenue near Schenectady Avenue in Crown Heights at 6:30 p.m. on a Friday.
The school bus was driving eastbound on Atlantic when another car cut it off. The bus driver swerved to avoid the car, causing the bus to jump the curb and hit the woman.
The victim, whose name has not been released, was rushed to Interfaith Hospital, where she was pronounced dead from her injuries.
Officials are still investigating the incident. No arrests have been made.
