11 Injured In Car Crash With Special Needs Bus In Queens

Eleven people sustained injuries during a car collision with a bus transporting special needs people in Glendale, Queens on Wednesday afternoon, officials said. The car and bus collided at Woodhaven Boulevard and 82nd Road at around 4:15 p.m.

 

Nine adults with special needs were on the bus and they were all taken to local hospitals with cuts and bruises, officials said. The driver of the bus and the car were rushed to Elmhurst Hospital in serious condition, officials said.

 

Police are still investigating.
